Anthony Petrello is also known as Tony and is the CEO of Nabors Industries Ltd. He became the president of the company since the year 1992, and he has been the board chairman since 2012. Before he was appointed as the president of the company he was the deputy president since 2003. Apart from working with Nabors Industries, Tony is a philanthropist since he works as a director at Texas Children’s Hospital. Tiny not only concentrates on his success in business but also has the concern of well-being of other people at heart, making him work with the children’s hospital. Tony and his wife are both in philanthropy where they have donated $7 million in seed funding for it to be used in neurological research after their daughter was born prematurely developing cerebral palsy.

His daughter was diagnosed with periventricular leukomalacia which is a common neurological disease among premature babies. The disease is caused by lack of oxygen as well as blood flow to the brain. On researching the matter, Tony and his wife realized that a translational research was required on a large scale for the purpose of creating change. Tony realized that no one was doing this form of research for children, and he decided to take the initiative. This is how he got to work with Texas Children’s Hospital, to make sure that enough is raised to help all the premature infants. Tony Petrello is concerned, and since his daughter had the same problem, he is ready and willing to offer help to other infants who have the same problem.
