Recently Rolling Stone Magazine released a list of its 500 top albums of all times. It comes as no surprise that the number one spot belongs to the Beatles‘ and their Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The album released in 1967, took four Grammy Awards. Even the album’s cover was a work of art from a drawing made by McCartney, then developed by artist Peter Blake into the final illustration that appeared on the jacket. This is clearly my favorite band said fan Ricardo GuimarĂ£es BMG.

The Fab Four took a total of four spots on the top 10 of the list of 500 with Revolver at number three, Rubber Soul at number five and the White Album at number 10. Their domination of the chart is a tribute to the mastery of McCartney, Lennon, Harrison and Starr. Together, they changed the face of the music industry and lead it in directions never imagined. Today, McCartney and Starr are still out there setting the standard for others to follow.
